WASHINGTON — In his news conference on Wednesday, President Joe Biden gave Russian President Vladimir Putin the green light to invade Ukraine.
At his news conference, Biden said that he expected Russia to invade Ukraine, but that he did not expect Russia to launch a full-out war. He stated that Putin would pay a hefty price if he were to launch a full-scale invasion. He stopped short of declaring what that price would be.
Biden claimed he did not know if Putin had made a decision to move in, but stated he expected him to move. Biden stopped short of promising any help or relief to Ukraine from the US or any of its allies in Europe.
Russia has already invaded Georgia and continues to control key interests in the nation. They also control the Crimean peninsula and forced it into annexation during the Obama administration.
Giving Putin the green light in Ukraine will allow Putin to gain control over additional pipelines into Europe and more control over natural resources. Europe is already facing a natural gas crisis and Putin would have the upper hand economically on Europe with control of the pipelines.
Biden previously removed US opposition to a pipeline that Russia wanted to build which Donald Trump had blocked. Now, nothing stands in the way of Russia and its continued march for economic power over Europe.
Mainstream media and Democrats launched full-scale attacks on Donald Trump, calling him a Russian pawn. They launched investigations against Trump for suggested Russian collusion, yet remain silent in regards to Biden’s actions and giving in to Putin.
