Well, here we go again, folks. It’s a new day, and yet another Joe Biden blunder, and trust me, these blunders are getting worse by the day. We’re now noticing that Joe Biden is living in some “alternate universe” where things happen completely differently than in this reality, and it’s really getting scary. For example, Joe Biden signed an executive order to pass his “student loan forgiveness.” This was not some well-kept secret. His (illegal and unconstitutional) EO was reported far and wide by his propaganda media soldiers.
But even with all that said, Joe Biden, who’s now living in some make-believe land of gumdrops and unicorns, just claimed on video that his student loan bailout was actually a LAW that he signed, which was passed through Congress by a “vote or two.”
That never happened. Not even close.
Biden made this senile comment while outlining the details of his student loan forgiveness program at a far-left/radical “Now This News” forum.
Breitbart reported that Biden’s student loan plan would essentially give up to $20,000 in student loan cancellation to Americans earning less than $125,000 a year if they received Pell Grants and up to $10,000 in cancellation if they did not receive Pell Grants. A Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey found that a majority of Americans would not vote for candidates who support the plan in the upcoming midterms. As Breitbart News reported:
Overall, 55.6 percent indicated they are less likely to support a candidate who supports Biden’s plan … Of those who said they are less likely to vote for a political candidate who supports Biden’s plan, 49 percent said they are “much less likely,” and 6.6 percent said they are “somewhat less likely.” However, 44.4 percent said they are more likely to offer their support to a candidate who supports the plan.
Opinions are divided along party lines, as the overwhelming majority of Democrats, 89.4 percent, said they are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports Biden’s plan. However, 88.5 percent of Republicans said they are less likely, ad 53.9 percent of independents feel the same way.
A recent poll from The Economist/YouGov also found that roughly 50 percent of Americans agree that student loan forgiveness would be unfair to those who did not attend college, with even more agreeing that it would be unfair to those who paid off their loans.
The president’s bizarre statement represents just one more in an ever-increasing list of bizarre moments, this one coming within days of him appearing to fall asleep mid-interview.
And of course, who can forget when he was calling out to a dead congresswoman in the crowd?
But here is Joe, claiming that he signed a “law” about student loan forgiveness, that passed in Congress by a vote or two.
This guy’s mind is toast.
You can watch the video below:
Here is the full clip for all you clowns who say it’s out of context. Biden first falsely claims he “signed a law” to cancel student loan debt, then says he “got it passed by a vote or two.”

Maybe Joe wanted Congress to pass his student loan debt forgiveness, but he knew he didn’t have the votes, and that got stuck in one of the cobwebs in his brains. But right now, he’s facing scrutiny for his executive order, because what he did is basically illegal. He can’t do it.
The President does not have the legal authority to forgive student loans on his own. Only Congress has the power of the purse. Executive action can be used only when it has been specifically authorized by Congress.
The executive branch cannot spend money that has not been appropriated by Congress, per 31 USC 1301 et seq (Antideficiency Act (P.L. 97-258)) and Article I, Section 7, Clause 7 of the U.S. Constitution.
The claims that the President has the authority to forgive student loans are based on a misreading of the Higher Education Act of 1965 at 20 USC 1082(a)(6). That section of the Higher Education Act of 1965 provides the U.S. Secretary of Education with the authority to:
“…modify, compromise, waive, or release any right, title, claim, lien, or demand, however acquired, including any equity or any right of redemption.”
But that quote is taken out of context. The preamble to that section of the Higher Education Act of 1965 limits this authority to operating within the scope of the statute:“In the performance of, and with respect to, the functions, powers, and duties, vested in him by this part, the Secretary may—”
In other words, when Congress authorizes a loan forgiveness program, such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness, Teacher Loan Forgiveness or the Total and Permanent Disability Discharge, the U.S. Secretary of Education has the authority to forgive student loans as authorized under the terms of these loan forgiveness programs.
This whole “student loan” fiasco will be struck down by SCOTUS, when and if it gets there.
Who knows, Joe may be long gone by then. Midterms are coming, and Dems are champing at the bit to get rid of this guy, who’s become a noose around the entire party’s neck.
And it’s reasons like this right here, where Joe is clearly showing more and more how senile he is, that they know they MUST get rid of him… and FAST.
