Charlotte, NC — Dr. Anthony Fauci, the radical left’s celebrated expert in all things COVID-19, testified before Congress on Tuesday. While he faced various questions, one exchange stands out in particular with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). Paul has not been shy about asking difficult questions of Fauci in the past, and Tuesday was no exception.
Paul made statements that ended by asking Dr. Fauci if he still supported the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding the questionable Wuhan lab in China. Fauci responded by saying that Paul was incorrect in his statements, which suggested that gain of function experiments were occurring. Fauci’s statement was, “The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” You can see the exchange below.
While Fauci may not want to admit it, his statement is not entirely true. Many outlets have reported on the NIH’s funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the past.
In February, Steve Hilton at Fox News shared a segment where the evidence shows the ties of US-funded research to the Wuhan lab in China. A lot of questions were raised about the potential ties of the US-funded research to the development of COVID-19. Many attempts have been made to try and dispel any ties of the two, but the evidence is convincing.
As Hilton shares, the work described in developing the coronaviruses, such as COVID-19, was directly tied to the NIH research. This comes after the White House had directly asked the NIH to discontinue the research. But Fauci and the NIH leadership decided that they could find ways around the White House directive, to continue their research into a deadly bioweapon.
Which is exactly what it looks like COVID-19 is. As The Liberty Loft recently reported, China was preparing to use bioweapons, like COVID-19, as part of a battle plan for World War 3. It just so happens that the United States’ own NIH was funding that research and plan for them.
The research funded by NIH was directly tied to modifying viruses to make them more contagious and more deadly than previous species of coronaviruses observed. Hilton lays out the evidence and it’s compelling. The number of coincidences that would have had to occur would be nearly impossible.
It’s also ironic that China replaced the head of the Wuhan lab, before the COVID-19 outbreak, with the head of their bioweapons program. Again, giving more credibility to the fact that China was planning to use the newly developed viruses as bioweapons.
But Fauci says that none of these things happened. He denies that any US-funded research would have looked into these modified coronaviruses and could have potentially enabled China to release COVID-19 in the manner it was. While there are always coincidences in life, this is not adding up to be a coincidence at all. It’s adding up to be that Dr. Fauci perjured himself before Congress.
Fauci’s credibility continues to be less than stellar overall. He has flip-flopped on multiple occasions, he has moved goal posts claiming science when it was just his opinion, and now the lies to Congress about his ties to the Wuhan lab. We already know that Fauci and his NIH department have significant ties to Moderna, having claimed joint ownership of their coronavirus vaccine as reported last year. With this latest lie under oath, it’s time for Congress to charge him and expose him for the fraud he really is.
