On Sunday, President Trump put out quite a few tweets including his stance on Abortion. President Trump stated that he aligned himself with former President Reagan in his abortion stance. You can see the string of tweets in the two blocks below.
I suggested briefly during this weeks podcast that I felt this is the way that the trend would go for the challenges to Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey. I personally stand against abortion in all situations, but President Trump’s stance is better than past administrations. A life is something special, no matter the situation. As we have also discussed in the past, life is a right that is identified by the Declaration of Independence and guaranteed by the Constitution. A mistake by one person does not give anyone the right to take a life from another.
The responses from both sides have been quite interesting to President Trump. Several pro-life groups have commented on the desire to have the rape, incest, and mother’s life clause removed from Trump’s stance. The left has went into all out attack mode in their response to Trump. In the reply feed, many have mentioned other laws that they suggest Republican inaction shows the lack of concern from Republicans. There were calls for equal pay and gun control, with some stating that guns have more rights than women. Obviously these people have never read the constitution to know exactly what rights they have.
On Sunday night, Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg stated that he did not believe in abortion in any stage of pregnancy. You can see the video below. The Democratic Party has become the party of do whatever you want, there are no rules that should apply. Is there any concern for the Constitution anymore? Democrats will not stop until they change the Constitution to make it fit anything they want.
