Representatives Ihan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, both outspoken critics of Israel, announced earlier this month their intention to visit Israel and the Palestinian territories in the “next few weeks.” Omar stated, “I am going in a couple of weeks, and so I’ll learn more. But truly, everything that I hear points to both sides feeling like there is still an occupation.'” And there you have it, Ilhan Omar’s constant and ever evident disdain for the Jewish people; firmly believing that the Israeli government is occupying her fellow Muslims. Representative Tlaib, a Palestinian American, stated her plans to visit with relatives in the West Bank during the congressional recess in August. Both Omar and Tlaib, and the other two members of the “Squad” (Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley) have all fully supported the BDS Movement, which is a fundamental call-to-arms in boycotting Israel for its tensions against the Palestinian people.
All members of the “Squad” have publicly, and without shame or regret, attacked both the government and people of the nation of Israel. Omar has been unforgiving in her blatant and relentless attacks, even calling the Jewish state, “evil.”

It would be natural for the people of Israel to not welcome Representative Omar and the other hate-filled, anti-Semitic members of the “Squad” to their homeland. After all, and by their omission, Omar, Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, and Pressley, firmly believe that the Israeli people are occupying Arabs in their God-given land. Although these new Democratic attacks against the Jewish people are unconscionable, they are sadly not unique. For 2000 years, the Jewish people have undergone unmatched persecution; dispersed to foreign lands. In Europe, Jews were forced from countries such as Spain (1492) and again in Russia (the 1880s). Anti-Semitism reached its peaked when Adolf Hitler, through Nazism, attempted to exterminate the entire Jewish population in Europe. Despite the impossible odds, Jews in 1948, through the United Nations, created the Jewish state of Israel and revealed the words of Moses in the Torah.
Deuteronomy 30:3-4
Since 1948, Arab nations of the Middle East have been relentless in their attacks, waging war after war against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967 and again in 1973. During some of these wars, Israel was combating up to 5 Arab nations’ however, always coming out victorious in their efforts. Despite today’s anti-Semitic comments of US, congressional Liberals, Israel has remained the closest and often the only ally of America in the Middle East. However, their unwavering support for American interests has not always been met with the mutual accord. During the Carter Administration, the 39th President attempted to bring peace to the Middle East by bringing Egypt’s President Anwar Sadat, and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin together for peace talks at Camp David on September 1978.

Behind all the smiles, Israel would soon find out that Carter and his administration had no intention of supporting Israel, instead of providing nothing but lip service and using their continued struggle as nothing more than a photo-op peace accord. In November 2006, in his book entitled Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, Carter argued that “Israel’s continued control and colonization of Palestinian land have been the primary obstacles to a comprehensive peace agreement in the Middle East.”
Unlike his fellow Democrat, President Clinton shifted more to the right regarding support for Israel, and often disagreed and voted against U.N. resolutions of Israeli actions. This support continued through the 8-years of George W. Bush’s administration, only to be entirely undone by the Obama Administration. Obama did everything possible during his eight years to wholly undue and undermine the Israeli government; including preventing its action against Iran’s nuclear weapons program, something that America is still facing today due to Obama’s failed foreign policy and his turned-back approach to Israeli national security.
Today, President Trump has attempted to rebuild the broken relationship with Israel that was utterly torn apart by his predecessor. Unlike the Liberals and “Progressives” of America, Trump and the conservative members of Congress see the esteemed value of a strong and secure Israel – one that can prevent and protect American interests in Middle East region. Despite the continued onslaught of hatred spewed from the “Squad” and other members of the Left, due to the efforts of the Trump Administration, perhaps this is the time whereby we take the longtime leash of restraint off against Israel and allow them to conduct their business as they see fit.
Jews across the world have forever illustrated their resilience; however, peace cannot and will not be preserved with the continued provocation from the Middle Eastern Arab Nations. The “Junkyard Dog” lays astute, ready for any assault or trespass. However, Americans today and those Arab nations and people set out for the destruction of Israel better take notice that 71-years of a continued home invasion will eventually take a toll on a people; next time the intruder arrives, Arabs may find themselves in a battle bound for Tehran!
