The Washington Post once asked if every Obama visit was a photo op. Obviously, anytime a US President makes a public move there are pictures. Lots of pictures. Obama certainly knew how to make the best of a photo op. But now, they show hypocrisy relating to President Trump.
The post ran an article on Saturday critical of President Trump for going after photo ops. The article indicates that President Trump is showing Americans through these photo ops that he is doing his job. What I find interesting is that it was easy to see he was doing his job before.
If you think about it, his plans and policies have our economy going strong. Unemployment sits at 3.6%. If unemployment ends at that rate in December, it will be the lowest year ending unemployment rate since 1969! Yet, Trump is simply doing photo ops to give the impression he is working.
The article went after Trump signing of the PACT act. This animal cruelty and torture act was introduced into Congress in January of this year. Yet, the post would have you think that Trump timed this perfectly in an attempt to use it as a photo op.
The post continues saying that Trump has few legislative achievements since Democrats took over control of the House of Representatives. As always, they fail to mention that a similar thing happened under President Obama when the GOP took control of both the House and Senate. It is simply amazing to see the double standard that is on display from the paper.
Anytime that Obama made visits to troops, media never gave accounts that were combined with attacking articles. The media accounts of these visits always referred to his inspiring words. If you can’t see the hypocrisy in the media, you obviously are not looking. I know I sound like a broken record, but the media’s only goal is to destroy Trump.
The media will not investigate corruption in Ukraine. They media will not research fake impeachment evidence or testimony. The only interest of the media is to bash Trump. They continue this narrative day after day, which is honestly why most American’s have lost interest in the media.
Media ratings continue to fall across most of the major news networks. Fox News, while it has had issues, has rated highest consistently. MSNBC and CNN struggle to perform as American’s are tired of the broken records. I would not know what to do if I actually saw a piece of journalism from one of the major news outlets, but we’ll go into that more another time.
