President Trump says he is ready to clean the swamp through the Senate. His latest statements come as Pelosi made a public statement regarding articles of impeachment.

Soon after President Trump’s statement above, Speaker Nancy Pelosi took to a press conference to announce that articles of impeachment would be drafted against President Trump. You can read the statement here. Pelosi brought forward several statements from history in attempting to support the position of impeachment.
The common theme throughout her statements was that a President was not above the law. President Trump is accused by the Democrats of abusing his power for political benefit. If this were true, President Trump would be far from the first President to do so. Maybe you remember Obama mobilizing the IRS against conservatives in 2010?
The issue is that we have proof Obama mobilized the IRS. We have proof that President Obama conducted Fast and Furious which was illegal in it’s own right. Yet, Democrats have no issues with what was done there. They do have a problem with President Trump, however.
Without any evidence, Pelosi will move forward on the biased statements by “constitutional scholars” as the basis for impeachment. Admittedly, there are questionable actions by Trump and his attorney Giuliani, but I see nothing that is illegal. What is notably missing from Pelosi’s statements? The use of their focus group tested word “bribery.”
President Trump is ready for a Senate trial. In fact, he is wanting it to hurriedly get to the Senate. Why? I fully expect Schiff, the Bidens and many other Democrats will be called to testify. I expect that they will want to refuse to testify. Especially Joe Biden, as he and his son face criminal charges for their actions with Ukraine.

As Trump said, he was elected to drain the swamp of this corruption. I expect he and AG Barr are well into their process and a lot of interesting information will be coming out soon. It’s a swamp cleaning that America has needed for some time.
The Democrats should be ashamed of their actions. They have mobilized a process that should be used for true crimes, rather than the crime of hating someone. Pelosi may like to lash out at reporters who ask her about her hatred of Trump, but there is simply no other explanation. Democrats hate Trump and impeachment is probably their only hope of eliminated him.
