Atlanta, G.A. – On Wednesday, the CNN network chief told staffers that they will not be returning to their offices until at least September. The news comes amid the coronavirus shutdown which has caused many businesses to work from home. In his comments, the chief said that shows will continue to be produced from home as is the case now.
Most businesses and news outlets are planning returns to their offices, but not CNN. Many are looking at early May returns. Across the country, businesses are pushing governors to open. The White House recently told federal employees to prepare to return to the office soon.
But yet again, CNN will continue to push the panic narrative for the left. A quick look at their website shows their mission, to push to continue the shut downs. On the front page, the push to continue state shut downs is in bold across the page.
CNN is not the only left wing media outlet to push the narrative. MSNBC is also making statements about President Trump wanting to get out of Washington. The push is to try to convince the public that opening the economy is a bad idea. But why is that?
It’s easy to explain. The left needs the economy to continue to be bad. They’re doing anything they can as a means to keep driving fear and doubts. The Washington Post ran an article about how the economic recovery may be a W shape and how it’s scary.
Other outlets, like The Guardian, are pushing the story that this is the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. It seems like most people are forgetting that the economic issues we are having are because of the shut downs. The economy was doing just fine until mandatory shut downs and stay orders were put into place.
The Hill says that the thoughts of a V shaped recovery are absurd. Yes, according to most of the media and the left any potential suggestion that the economy recover is absurd. Why are so many pulling against the economic recovery?
Why are these people against Americans and their well-being? It is really puzzling that we would be pulling against the economy when we should be pulling for it. But it’s easy to explain. The left is solely focused on eliminating President Trump in November.
If the media can continue to push the shut down measures, the economic recovery will take longer. They need the economy to be struggling in November. CNN tried to push the narrative that an economic recovery by the end of the year is a best case scenario. I don’t see that as the case.
Yes, the economic recovery is going to take some time. The recovery does not revolve around the virus, but rather getting people back to work. I’ve said it before and I say it again. There must be some common sense approaches to getting the economy back open as soon as possible.
We are continuing to learn more about the virus. If antibody testing tells us the virus is more widespread than initially thought, why continue the shut downs?
That’s what CNN and the rest of the left cannot answer. They have no reason to continue the shut downs. They can argue the safety of the spread of the virus, but the lockdowns didn’t take into account small steps, they were drastic steps.
These drastic steps have devastated the economy. The only way to recover is to start opening back up. As the states take these steps, we can closely monitor the virus as we continue to learn more from the antibody testing.
The quicker we return to normal, the quicker the economy recovers. While the left will argue this is about public safety, the truth is this is about politics now. For them, this is about how to win an election.
They are struggling to find a way for Biden to win in November. Polls show Biden and Trump in a dead heat. They claim Trump is hated. The narrative is that he is a failure on coronavirus. Yet, they still cannot push Joe Biden over the edge.
The only other option is to manufacture a bad economy that can show Trump in a bad light. If the economy recovers at all, Trump continues to look like the strong leader he is. This is a nightmare scenario to the left wing propaganda group called CNN. Hence the reason that they want to close until September.
