Charlotte, NC – Earlier this week, the House of Representatives presented and voted to approve the Heroes Act. The legislation is a massive socialist wish list filled with pure insanity. On this week’s episode of The Closet Conservative Podcast, Eric dove into the bill.
Some of the key points he shared was that only $10 billion was set aside to help small businesses. Nearly $1 trillion was set aside for state and local governments. Unemployment benefits were extended through January, with the $600 per week added.
The interesting thing that Eric calls out is the backstory behind all of this. The $600 per week equates to $15 per hour, the magic minimum wage number that the Democrats all would like to see.
Of course, they included the student debt relief that they are committed to. Student debt forgiveness of $10,000 per federal student loan borrower was included. On top of that, payments would be suspended until September of 2021.
The real interesting part is how Eric shares the math behind this bill. For example, this would equate to millions of dollars per coronavirus death so far. It would be enough money to cover the entire city of Washington, DC, in dollar bills stacks deep. It truly is amazing when you think about the vast amount of spending in this bill.
This latest episode is one that you do not want to miss. It will show you all the crucial points of this legislation and help you share with your liberal friends the insanity. If you missed it, you can find the episode anywhere you like to listen to podcasts or through the player below.
