Washington, DC — In the early morning hours on Friday, we learned that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump both had contracted COVID-19. By Friday evening, President Trump had been transferred to Walter Reed Medical Center for continuous monitoring. Even though Trump made statements about his condition, the mainstream media pushed concern and agenda.
The President’s physician spoke on Saturday and gave a great report of the President continuing to receive treatment and saying that he felt like he could leave anytime. The media pushed with questions about Trump’s condition, citing they had reports of potential oxygen use and painting a grave picture of Trump’s condition.
While Trump was the biggest concern, several others in the White House circle have also contracted COVID-19. Advisor Hope Hicks, Senators Mike Lee, Thom Tillis, and Ron Johnson, Kellyanne Conway, and Chris Christie have all tested positive for the virus. So have many members of the White House press corps.
The media wants to tie this back to the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett and an event in the Rose Garden last week. They want to attack President Trump over his actions and the spread of the virus while he is sick. Another part of me believes that they also secretly hope President Trump dies.
Breitbart shared a story of a Texas state representative that shared it’s hard for Trump to go to prison if he dies. Others on the left say that perhaps this is the perfect time for the cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Trump from power.
One reason Trump could be withholding truth of his condition: he doesn’t want calls for transfer of power to grow. At what point does Cabinet consider 25th amendment?

CNN has an article that shares that the next 48 hours will be critical for President Trump. Other media outlets report that the statements by Trump’s physicians were misleading. They share that the President is much worse than has been shared. President Trump made a statement that seemed to say otherwise.

Even as we should be praying for our President, our leaders, and our fellow Americans through this pandemic, the left cannot put their hate aside. They cannot put aside their agenda; they see this as an opportunity to continue to push for what they want.
We know that President Trump has symptoms and that he is not feeling well. We know that he is receiving treatment, which tells us all we need to know about the situation. The President is sick and needs our prayers.
Instead, we get actions like that of CNN’s Jim Acosta, who is more concerned about the President not stopping to take questions.

Or perhaps we even take into account the New York Times. In an article, they suggested that President Trump should be taken off the ballot due to being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The media loves the diagnosis that President Trump has COVID-19. They hate this man with all of their being, and it shows. They simply want to eliminate him, whether through an election or even dying by the coronavirus.
As for those of us here at The Liberty Loft, we want to express that our thoughts and prayers are with the President, our elected officials, their families, and all Americans across this country as we fight the pandemic. We would not want to wish this on anyone, even those we disagree with on the left.
We have said from the beginning that we understand COVID-19 is real and is a concern. We may not have agreed on the various ways it was handled, but it does not change the fact that the China virus is real and has contributed to the death of so many across our country.
