New York, NY — Perhaps you might not remember the sad, angry, and pathetic Trump Derangement Syndrome suffering Keith Olbermann who has been fired from multiple places, including ESPN. However, he’s in the news again for comments that unsurprising but still completely unhinged.
He left sports completely and decided to return to the world of political commentary right in time for the 2020 election. Recently, he launched into this disastrous rant where he suggests some pretty questionable treatment for conservatives and Trump supporters alike.
“Trump can be and must be expunged. The hate he has triggered, the Pandora ’s Box he has opened, they will not be so easily destroyed. So, let us brace ourselves. The tax is twofold: The terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box. Then he and his enablers and his supporters and his collaborators, and the Mike Lees, and the William Barrs and Sean Hannitys and the Mike Pences and the Rudy Guilianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses, and the Amy Comey Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has nearly destroyed by turning it over to a virus. Remember it, even as we dream of a return to reality and safety and the country for which our forefathers died. That the fight is not just to win an election, but to win it by enough to chase, at least for a moment, Trump and the MAGAts off the stage and then try to clean up what they left. Remember it even though to remember it, means remembering the fight does not end November 3rd, but in many ways, will only begin that day.”

The logical question that you might be asking is how exactly will Olbermann et al. think they are going to enforce this pathetic little man’s threat? I’m seriously asking!
Do they really think they’re going to come for a bunch of people who love and support the second amendment, are God-fearing, Left-tolerating conservatives with threats of forced internment without any pushback?
Moreover, is Keith Olbermann himself going to be on the front lines attempting to “round us up” and detain the lot of us? Of course not!
Olbermann, unlike my 10-year-old, who is quite efficient with a Ruger AR-5.56, probably thinks that the sound of an AR has a massive concussive force, sounds like a canon, and with a kick that is likely to give him temporary PTSD.
Now there will be those on the Left who will say, “Olbermann didn’t really say that!” in the same way they tried to explain that defunding the police doesn’t actually mean defunding the police. This linguistic and verbal gymnastics might work on the weak-willed and gullible on the Left, but the Right sees exactly what it is and what they mean.
Call us crazy for thinking that a phrase like “defund the police” actually means what it says.
Well, Keith and his defenders, what exactly do you think “removing people from society” means? Please dazzle me with an honest attempt at a response.
Do you think we are all heading to a summer camp with waterskiing during the day and a guarantee of roasting marshmallows and eating s’mores every night?
He is literally calling for the internment of Trump and his supporters! The last time this was done was…oh, that’s right…a Democrat in World War II! FDR interned thousands of Japanese Americans shortly after the empire of Japan’s attack on our Naval Base at Pearl Harbor.
These are the same people, the exact same, who lecture the Right on “incendiary language and rhetoric” and calls to arms.
If Gretchen “Wuhan” Whitmer can somehow link a kidnapping plot that was foiled by the FBI made by anarchists to Trump and his supporters, then this is most definitely a dog whistle and rallying cry made by a dog for others to act on.
Olbermann’s words aren’t just a call to action, they are literally a call for war, and the rest of his ilk, are likely to lose!
Olbermann, so long as people continue to hire him and stupidly put him in front of a camera, is going to be Olbermann. At least he’s entertaining. Sadly, just not in the way he thinks!
