Charlotte, NC — On Wednesday, video platform YouTube announced that it will be removing all videos that dispute the results of the 2020 election. In their announcement, YouTube stated that with the safe harbor deadline passing, a President-elect has been officially declared. They stated that they will begin immediately removing any video that disputes elections results starting today.
YouTube continued that their community guidelines “prohibit spam, scams, or other manipulated media, coordinated influence operations, and any content that seeks to incite violence.” Suggesting that conservative media, or anyone that questions the election results, is obvious bias.
The organization described the information as problematic misinformation that accounts for less than 1% of the views on the site. According to YouTube, the only acceptable source of “reliable information” is the mainstream media outlets. Specifically, it cited NBC and CBS News.
So while the Trump legal team continues to provide evidence of election fraud, with multiple states being implicated, YouTube is going to remove it. This information is not approved for you, citizens of a “free” nation.
I will certainly admit that there are some wild conspiracy theories floating around about the 2020 election. There are misleading statements and videos, but all of the information cited in the YouTube blog post involves the claims from the Trump legal team.
President Trump and his team have not wavered from their claims. Instead, they have resorted to producing evidence in each of the states. They continue to argue their case, but big tech and media outlets are resorting to silencing conservatives yet again.
With the mainstream media declared win of Joe Biden, social media and big tech outlets feel empowered to continue their war on conservatives. Conservative websites are seeing their content limited and their followers are reporting difficulty in seeing their posts.
Here at The Liberty Loft, our social media followers have increased over the past few months, but the reach of our posts has drastically decreased. On Facebook alone, our content has been limited to about 15% of our preelection reach. All the while, we have maintained the position of reporting truth and factual information.
If Joe Biden enters the White House in January, it will only become worse. Conservatives will continue to be blocked and restricted on social media. We will continue to struggle to reach our audiences.
The left will not stop until all conservative media is silenced and out of business. Now, more than ever, we rely on our readers and our listeners to favorite our page, subscribe to our content everywhere it can be found, and share our articles everywhere they can. We cannot let big tech win this fight.
