Palm Beach, FL — On Tuesday, the Trump Media & Technology Group announced it had reached a deal with Rumble to provide video services for the upcoming TRUTH social. Rumble will provide video and streaming service for the platform.
In addition, TMTG and Rumble are also in negotiations regarding streaming service. According to the announcement, if an agreement is reached, Rumble will provide infrastructure and video delivery services for TMTG’s Subscription Video On-Demand product, TMTG+.
In the release, former President Donald Trump said, “As part of our mission, TMTG continues to align with service providers who do not discriminate against political ideology. Therefore, I have selected the Rumble Cloud to serve as a critical backbone for TMTG infrastructure. TMTG has already launched Truth Social on the Rumble Cloud for invited guests only, and the initial Beta launch has been excellent. America is ready for TRUTH Social, and the end to cancel culture.”
The TRUTH social platform is expected to launch in early 2022. Trump and his team made headlines when they announced the new platform after many expected him to partner with existing media platforms.
Rumble has become popular with conservatives as a YouTube alternative. Many conservatives have departed YouTube entirely to find a better service and relationship with Rumble.
The news of the partnership was released just before 5 p.m. EST via press release.
