ATF under Biden has secretly amassed 1 billion gun records, according to a Texas congressman.

My goodness, I wonder what they cold be up to?

While Joe Biden has decided to send more military aid to Ukraine, though not enough according to some members of Congress, his government is coming after the 2nd Amendment and Americans’ guns, with Biden’s ATF surreptitiously accumulating over 1 billion gun records in what appears to be movements toward disarming Americans.

So Biden’s administration is happy to deliver Ukraine nuclear-weapons-capable weapons but wants to disarm Americans.

And now I have questions.

It seems evident that information about gun ownership might swiftly devolve into a bloodbath in the wrong hands.

Would weapons be subjected to exorbitant taxes?

Confiscated?

What purpose would they have in pursuing civilian disarmament goals?

If the government is armed with any of this information, it will have no good intentions. All we have to do is look at what happened in gun-free Australia and New Zealand to recognize that the 2nd amendment protects all of our fundamental liberties.

If the government cared about people’s safety from gun violence, it would imprison urban criminals instead of releasing them fifty times to conduct the same violent acts.

It would focus on illegal handgun ownership in urban areas rather than the bogeyman of “assault weapons,” which aren’t even a genuine category and aren’t used in most gun crimes.

When you add in the government’s homicidal cover-up of cheap, numerous, and effective off-patent therapies for Covid, as well as extensive propaganda that abortion is a medical right, it’s clear that the government has no interest in true public safety.

Representative Michael Cloud (R-TX) is bringing attention to a rising problem in the United States: the government’s infringement of God-given fundamental rights to preserve life, liberty, and property.

Representative Cloud made a recent appearance on NTD’s Capitol Report and presented some alarming news concerning the federal government’s encroachment on gun sales and purchases, which he discussed in detail.

“You’ll hear a lot of people say that the primary job of the federal government is to keep us safe. Well, the primary job of the federal government is actually to keep us free…It’s really about our protection. It’s about ensuring tyranny doesn’t enter into our government. It’s about ensuring that each individual has the right to protect themselves and their families.”

Cloud said he learned at the end of 2021 that the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives) had gathered almost 54 million gun records in a single year and that the Biden administration was attempting to prolong the period for which gun sellers must preserve their records.

“We began an investigation and come to find out that the ATF had over time collected almost 1 billion gun records. They had put them into a database in digital format in a way that’s searchable,” said Cloud. “So, you look at a database with almost a billion gun records in it—that’s an astronomical figure—in a searchable database. It comes really close to that line of a gun registry, if not crossing it.”

Cloud said the Biden administration is getting too close to creating a federal gun registry—encroaching on our constitutional liberties—which is currently prohibited by federal law.

To stop the federal gun registry database, Cloud introduced a bill called “No Retaining Every Gun In a System That Restricts Your Rights Act.”

“We’re pushing back on it. We’ve introduced this legislation that would call for that database to be dismantled,” he said. Cloud and the 50 representatives who have co-sponsored the bill say this measure will protect Americans’ basic freedoms and ensure the government can be kept in check.

“It’s really about our protection. It’s about ensuring tyranny doesn’t enter into our government. It’s about ensuring that each individual has the right to protect themselves and their families.”

“It’s really about our protection. It’s about ensuring tyranny doesn’t enter into our government. It’s about ensuring that each individual has the right to protect themselves and their families.”

The firearm industry trade association, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) reports that roughly 30% of all gun buyers in 2021 (5.4 million) were first-timers.

This is down 10% from 2020, when roughly 8.4 million people out of 21 million background checks acquired a gun for the first time.

Crimes have spiked all across the country and people want to protect themselves and their families, “but we see politicians stepping in the way of that,” (Oregon, Seattle, San Francisco) said Cloud, adding that in the last year, many of the federal agencies have encroached or attempted to encroach on constitutional rights.

Cloud cited the Department of Justice’s attempt to designate enraged parents as domestic terrorists as an example.

Democrats are attempting to approve legislation that will allow the IRS to track many more people’s purchases.

The Department of Homeland Security has declared “domestic terrorism” and misinformation to be more dangerous than foreign terrorists.

And so on…

“This is a time for us as Americans to realize we have to stand up and uphold the Constitution, that Constitution that was put in place to put government in a box, specifically so they do not overstep what we understood to be our God-given liberties.”

ATF’s Office of Public and Governmental Affairs claims that it “does not maintain a federal gun registry for firearms that fall under the Gun Control Act, and none of the records ATF maintains relating to those firearms may be used to create such a registry.”

In response to ATF, Cloud’s Communications Director Jeremy Crane said, “ATF can say all they want but they have admitted to accumulating, maintaining, and digitizing nearly a billion firearm purchase records of American gun owners. That certainly looks like the start of a federal gun registry.”
