Washington, DC – During a radio interview released Friday morning, Joe Biden said that if a black person was trying to decide between him and President Trump, they weren’t really black. The comments were made on an interview during “The Breakfast Club.” Politico shares that the interview was at times contentious.
Just before the statement was made, the host had been pressing Biden to share that he was considering a black woman for his running mate. Biden refused to provide information other than there were multiple black women being considered.
After this, an aide stepped in saying the time was up. The host protested and Biden said that he must go. After some more pressing, Biden then responded saying if the host was trying to decide between him and Trump, then the host was not really black.
These are off the cuff comments by Biden, who is full of gaffes in each of his appearances. He has threatened to take people outside and has even forgot which position he is running for in speeches. His staff continues to try to keep him out of the public eye as much as possible.
These comments are an insult to black people across the country. It insinuates that those people are not capable of being educated to make their own decision. Biden does not want to give them the time or answers to be able to become educated.
He seems to indicate that he is entitled to the black vote, just because he is Joe Biden. That’s not how this works. The campaign is so people can learn more about you and learn about your plans.
Voters around the country need to pay attention to this, especially the black voters. Biden believes you have to vote for him just because he is a Democrat, but the Democrats are doing nothing for those voters.
History teaches that the Democrats were the party that pushed slavery. In fact, divisions over how to handle slavery gave rise to the Republican Party and Abraham Lincoln. We all know what happened from there.
There is data point after data point that shows how blacks suffer in areas that are under Democratic leadership. The Democrats continue to feed the lies that they are the party for the black people and always have been. The history is just not there to prove it.
Joe Biden does not deserve the votes, he must earn the votes. With comments like these, I hope that the voters are paying attention. Democrats do not care about you, they just want to control you.
